You can use door No. 1 on the left side of car No. 3 or door No. 4 on the left side of car No. 4. Let’s move to there first.

The first car of the Yamanote Line inner tracks train is No.11, so car No.4 is two cars behind car 6 in the center.

2.View of West Gate from above

The West Gate we are aiming for is the  is marked with the red circle. Use the 2 elevator to get there.

Let’s zoom in on the map below to see the location. You should be able to get a vague idea of the location here. Tap the icon to see the explanation in English.

In the platform map above, the direction of travel is on the left, so after getting off the train, you should go forward (right) which is the direction of travel.

Tip.
You can use the magnified view to display the platform map vertically in a larger size.
If you point the top of the screen in the direction the train is going, it will stop at the station in the same way, so it’s easy to visualize. door No.1 of car No.4. Don’t forget ^^.

4.Wheelchair-accessible, fully barrier-free route guidance

Let’s look at the main part of this page, the route.

The red line is the route from the 2 elevator to the West Gate in 1 minute. The distance is about 25m. Moving from the 1F Yamanote line outer tracks platform to the B1F.

Tap the icon to see the explanation in English.

Open the platform map.
This time we will use the 2 elevator. It is located on the left side of car No.4, right after getting off from door No.1.

The inner trains enter the station from the south, so the upper part of the map is Shin-Okubo, one stop previous, and the lower part is Yoyogi, the next stop.

This map also shows where the stations before and after and Tokyo Station are on the Yamanote Line map if you keep decreasing the magnification.

5.Explanation of how long it will take to travel

The distance from the 2 elevator to the West Gate is about 25m.

The time taken is calculated at a slightly slowly of 50m per minute, and any remainder is rounded up to the nearest minute.

From 2 elevator to the West Gate
(50m x 0 min) + 25m
So, I rounded up to 1 minute.

This does not consider the waiting time for elevators along the way, so please allow a little extra time if you have it.
