I am a Japanese living in Japan. On this page, you will find a 1 minute route from the Yamanote Line inner tracks platform of Tokyo Station to the Marunouchi North Exit using the stairs.

The station attracts a lot of people. Get out as fast as you can!

1.What car and what door should I use to get to the Marunouchi North Exit in 1 minute?

You can use door No. 3 or door No. 2 on the left side of car No. 10. Let’s move to there first.

The first car of the Yamanote Line inner tracks train is No.11, so car No.10 is the second car from the front.

Check the platform door before you get on the train and move!

If you get lost on the platform where you got off, look for door No.3 of car No.10 on the platform door. If you start from there, you can get there without getting lost.

Look for door No.3 of car No.10 on the platform door of platform No.4, which has one green line. Please do not make a mistake.

3.About the stairs to use

This is a guide to the stairs you will use. Yamanote line inner tracks trains stop at 2F, platform No. 4.

First, look for door No.3 of car No.10 on the guide map below. The stairs you will be using is located at 7.

In the platform map above, the direction of travel is on the left, so after getting off the train, you should go forward (right) which is the direction of travel.

Tip.
You can use the magnified view to display the platform map vertically in a larger size.
If you point the top of the screen in the direction the train is going, it will stop at the station in the same way, so it’s easy to visualize. door No.3 of car No.10. Don’t forget ^^.

The inner trains enter the station from the north, so the upper part of the map is Yurakucho, one stop previous, and the lower part is Kanda, the next stop.
